Brookfield Lacrosse Association (BLA) is a community based, non-profit, volunteer driven organization.
BLA's mission as an organization is to instruct, promote and compete in the sport of lacrosse for the youth in the Cities of Brookfield, Elm Grove and New Berlin. BLA supports the high school lacrosse club programs for Brookfield Central and Brookfield East students. BLA provides opportunities for youth to learn the game of lacrosse in a safe, positive and fun environment.
Each individual BLA member must have a current membership to the US Lacrosse Association that runs through the Spring Season (membership must expire late June or after to cover the spring season) to register to play.

Season Schedule:
Registration opens in December and runs through late January.

Teams can end up with waitlists, make sure to register early!
Club Organization:
BLA is organizedinto Boys and Girls Programs. These programs are then divided by grade level. BLA provides players with the opportunity to learn the game, develop coordination, speed and how to honor the game of lacrosse through good sportsmanship.
BLA Youth teams are members of the Milwaukee Youth Lacrosse Association (MAYLA). MAYLA provides local leadership, structure and education in the sport of lacrosse. The Spring season is organized and scheduled by MAYLA.

Practices and Games
Practices are primarily 2 days per week held on weekdays after 5pm.
Home games are played at either Swanson Elementary, Krueger Park or Wisconsin Hills Middle School.
Games are scheduled Saturdays and Sundays (historically has excluded Mother's Day & Memorial Day weekend).
Games have historically been scheduled for morning or early afternoons on BOTH Saturday and Sunday each weekend through the season.

High School Programs:
The Athletic Directors at Brookfield Central and East run the lacrosse program as a Club level activity in partnership with Brookfield Lacrosse. The teams compete in the Classic 8 Conference against 19 varsity and 22 junior varsity teams in southeastern Wisconsin.
Boys and Girls High School teams are open to players from either Brookfield Central or Brookfield East High Schools only.Player evaluations will be held in early March, and Varsity and JV teams are then established for the season.
Practices and Games
Practices are held Monday through Friday on weekdays after school. The teams practice at Brookfield Indoor Soccer Complex in March and early April. Outdoor practices begin in mid-April with boys practicing at Brookfield Central High School and girls at Brookfield East High School.
Home games are played at Brookfield Central High School (Boys) and Brookfield East (Girls).
Games are scheduled weeknights after 5pm.
Buses are provided to away games by the Athletic Departments at Central & East.
